Cozy Yard Friends is a gentle virtual pet game for young children. Your pet lives in a sunny yard and needs a little care each day — everything is done with a finger, with no menus to read and no buttons to hunt for.
Stroke your pet to show it love, drag the apple to its mouth to feed it, scrub the brush over its fur to groom it, and fling the tennis ball to play fetch. Caring for your pet earns stars, and the Shop button in the top-right opens the Star Shop, where stars buy treats, coat colors, toys, new friends, and whole new yards.
How do we earn stars faster?
Caring for your pet — feeding, petting, brushing, and fetch — earns the most stars. Tapping the sun starts a star rain shower, and once the pond is unlocked, tapping it starts a bubble-popping game. Your pet also makes a wish each day; granting it earns a big thank-you.
How do we get the bunny, kitty, or puppy?
New friends are on the Friends shelf of the Star Shop. Each new pet keeps its own name, coat color, and look. Cat breeds (Calico, Tabby, Tuxedo, Siamese, and Persian) appear on the Breeds shelf after the kitty has been adopted.
My pet disappeared!
It's probably hiding behind the tree waiting for you to find it, or having a swim in the pond. Tap around the yard and it will come back out.
Will my child's pet get sick or run away?
Never. Needs go down gently and nothing bad ever happens to the pet, so no one ends up in tears.
Is our progress saved?
Yes. The pet's name, its needs, your stars, and everything you have unlocked are saved on the device between visits. Deleting the app deletes the save.
There's no advertising or purchases, right?
Correct. No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no data collection, and no internet connection required. See the privacy policy.
